I just read your page and I see in your photo you are still smiling. You were one of my favourite librarians to visit - it's only 1550 Kil from home and without the welcome you and many of your colleagues extended to me over many years, I would never be still here finding books for your libraries.
The dedication put in by librarians such as youself to offer wonderful collections of books for so many is rarely acknowledged but behind the scenes, we know the value of your service to the community.

I'm another real librarian from Central west libraries in NSW. I just wanted to send a quick message to say how i related to your life experience in libraries. I also moved fronm TAFE to Public Libraries but i have always worked in the country. I enjoyed your blog and may you enjoy what life brings. We need librarians in the central west!
